Sarah is away now for two weeks on a road trip from Las Vegas to San Diego, we had a brief meeting before she left to review the tracks so far. We still feel there is a small amount of work to do with a couple of the tracks vocally, I have been working on these for a while but they aren't really happening yet. We have decided to revisit these when she is back and possibly change the vocal melodies and lyrics.

I'd like to write a couple of new ideas to give us options for the final album, currently we are at 11 songs and ideally I'd like to have 12.

A few readers of this blog informed me of some sites that were linking to a download of our album, Lee from kindly removed his link but the other sites didn't bother, fortunately I contacted Rapidshare who were hosting the file and they have now removed our album.

As Dave Gahan apparently once said, if your not being bootlegged, your not happening.
We didn't get a chance to record the Podcast as mentioned, so this is top of the list for when Sarah is back. Lots to talk about.

Not good to be bootlegged but the positive is that your stuff is highly regarded (and rightly so) if people want to make it available as a illegal download. A positive out of a negative is definitely the order of the day with this one Matt.

Mr Gahan is exactly right with what he says.

Looks like you are getting close to finishing the album I presume you will upload some of the songs or part of them on the website and myspace page will you.

If Sarah is in the states lets hope she does n't come back converted to country & western music!!!!

Have a good weekend.

Some C&W isn't too bad... more worrying is she could run into Celine Dion!!!!!!!

I've actually found myself listening to quite a bit of Folk music recently.

I really like the Fleet Foxes album and this is a great video.

I promise this will not influence any of the track on this album though.

I think our folk era will kick in around the 4th album.

ok then... an idea for a cover for the fourth album.... you may need to change the lyrics a bit!!!!!

and before you ask, yes they are Flemish and are exaggerating the accents

Schmoof did a great C&W-style song on their last album, so never say never!

You could always call the 4th NK album "Into the Blue-grass" ? ;)
